Duck season at Lake Martin. The morning I took this was beautiful, it was cold, and the sun was just ready to shine its wonderful yellow morning light. So I waited for the clouds to clear and when they did I captured this brief moment as a group of ducks were flying by to look for a landing site.

Went out to Festival de Acadiens at Girard Park for a couple hours yesterday. Saw lots of happy people, sweated like crazy from the heat, and took a bunch of pictures. Here are a couple of my favorites.

The Warrior Dash was very cool and very different from what I normally photograph. I was taken aback by how many positive, uplifting, friendly, and supportive people were there. Attached are the pictures I kept from the event, took several hours to develop and scan all of the images, and I hope you enjoy. Please share so that the participants can see these images.

Hello everyone, I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to view and like my photos and page. I know I am not the most active page on Facebook, and that is not by design because I would love to spend every waking minute making photographs, but as we all know our normal daily routine sometimes doesn't line up with our hobbies/passions. That being said I really appreciate all of the love and support I get from friends and family who help me to become a better person and photographer without them I wouldn't be the person I am.

Ok mushy stuff out of the way, I have some film drying right now that I will hopefully be able to scan and upload in an hour or so of the Rayo Brother band playing at the Abita Brewery's 30th anniversary. Look for that I am excited to share the results with everyone!
