Today was one of those days I know I’ll carry with me for a very long time. Surrounded by my family and closest colleagues made today perfect.

I was incredibly honored to receive the Bill Adams PRSA Lifetime Achievement Award from PRSA MIAMI. To be recognized by a community of public relations professionals I’ve respected, worked alongside, learned from, and grown with throughout my career makes this recognition especially meaningful. Thank you to the committee and all of my friends and colleagues for this honor. A special thank you GraceFull Adventures for my introduction, I will carry those words close to my heart.

Congratulations to all the scholarship winners! 🙌🏽 and to Elizabeth Hill for an amazing year as president.

Incredible and heartwarming day honoring the memory of those lost on 9/11 through the continued work of 9/11 Day. More than 150,000 meals packed by local volunteers from so many corporations and organizations. A very special thank you to cobreiro comms for the opportunity to have our UMiami School of Communication students take part in this experience 🇺🇸💙

Thank you to Jennifer Rodz for the invite to attend today’s Ai conference hosted by Hello Alice | Small Business Funding & Resources. Learned a whole bunch on new tools to make a little more streamline and efficient. Totally going to try Google Gemini app NotebookLM 🙌🏽💙

Proud to share that I have joined the Board of Directors of Exchange for Change. Exchange for Change provides educational and communication skills-building programs for incarcerated men and women, creating opportunities for creative and intellectual exploration while helping amplify their voices beyond prison walls.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting them in PR efforts and attended their programs at local correctional facilities. I saw firsthand the impact that they have so I am so excited to take part in supporting an organization doing such meaningful work.

Thank you to the Exchange for Change team for welcoming me!

Political campaigns are fast-moving, demanding and deeply collaborative- especially at the Congressional level. Although the outcome was not what we hoped for, I’m grateful to LMA for the opportunity to play a role in this journey, and to be part of the PR team behind the campaign. It was thrilling and incredibly insightful to play Olivia Pope even for a couple of months! 🇺🇸 🙌🏽🇺🇸

Cancel culture has become a sort of spectator sport on social media platforms, and although it’s necessary to call out injustice and wrongdoings in our society, where do we draw the line between punishment and complete annihilation of somebody’s livelihood and well-being. Welcome you to read my latest article on this topic.
