Personally that last radio transmissions of the Granite mountain hotshots carry more weight than sharing a pic of them every year.

Granite mountain hotshots. June 30th, 2013. They experienced reported heat above 2,000F in their fire shelters if they made it to their shelters.

This may seem like a gloomy post but life isn't sunshine and rainbows.

A little before and after action. Cutting corner is a bit deep for my liking but as long it stays out of the dirt it will cut like a hot knife through butter

A ps3 I brought back from the dead. Running a custom firmware for modern gaming and an ssd swap since the hard drive was manufactured in 2008.

Fun fact about the ps3, the united states air force using the other OS option on the ps3 created the Condor Cluster. Not exactly sure what distribution of Linux was used.

It was used to creat/render high definition satellite images, analyze data, briefly to compile black hole renders and aided in pattern recognition and AI research.

Not often a saw shop knows how to work on gaming consoles and computers.

I've been restoring and modifying game consoles and computers for roughly 10 years.

Good enough wasn't good enough.

Spent another hour reshaping the flow path into the lower transfers port and using a split mandrel with 60 grit sand paper to improve oil retention and atomization of fuel

Not the same crank case but a good idea of before and after.

I haven't done much trenching of crank cases but this might be one of my new favorite porting mods.
