The Golden Bobtail is giving back, one gallon at a time!

For every gallon of propane delivered by our Golden Bobtail, Superior Fuel donates one cent to the Cody Buus Invitational Courage Snowmobile Ride, benefiting the Northern Lights Foundation.

The Northern Lights Foundation is a Duluth-based nonprofit that provides financial assistance to local families with children facing life-threatening illnesses. The Cody Buus Invitational Courage Ride helps support that mission while honoring the memory of Cody Buus and his wish to help others.

So far, the Golden Bobtail has delivered 91,547 gallons, raising $915.47 for the cause!

As a locally owned and operated company, we take pride in giving back to the communities we serve. Because for us, delivering propane is about more than just fuel. It’s about supporting the people and families who call this area home.

This week's employee spotlight goes to Bob L!

Bob L. has quickly become a standout member of the Superior Fuel team, setting multiple delivery records while consistently providing dependable service to customers throughout the Ely and Iron Range area.

In recent months, Bob has broken both company and regional delivery records. His performance reflects his strong work ethic, efficiency, and commitment to safely serving customers.

Beyond the numbers, Bob is known for his consistency, professionalism, and reliability. He takes pride in his work and continues to make a positive impact throughout the region.

Throughout the month of June, our Superior Fuel open houses were about more than bringing our customers and communities together. They were about giving back. ❤️🐾

At each of our seven office locations, a portion of the proceeds was donated to a local animal shelter serving that community. Together, we were able to donate an incredible total of $7,794.65 to help support animals in need!

Northwoods Humane Society-Sawyer County (Hayward, WI): $639.66

Our team was proud to personally deliver each donation to the shelters in the communities we serve.

This Employee Spotlight goes to Nick and Bella, two of our mechanics who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our fleet running safely and reliably.

During a recent routine inspection, Nick and Bella caught a developing issue before it had the chance to turn into a bigger problem. It’s exactly the kind of attention to detail that helps keep our trucks on the road and our drivers safe.

It’s a great reminder of what our maintenance team does every day. Thorough inspections, careful eyes, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time help prevent breakdowns before they happen.

Nick and Bella, thank you for setting the standard and for everything you do to keep Superior Fuel moving!

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Kallie, our Commercial Sales Representative serving Wisconsin and southern Minnesota!

Kallie is known for her positive attitude, determination, and commitment to building strong relationships with our customers. Whether she’s helping a new customer get settled, meeting with prospective customers, or finding ways to better serve those she works with, Kallie consistently goes above and beyond.

And she’s talented outside of work, too! If you’ve ever admired the seasonal artwork on the windows at our Spooner office, you can thank Kallie. She’s also a talented sourdough baker and enjoys photography.

We’re lucky to have Kallie on the Superior Fuel team. Her drive, creativity, and dedication make a difference every day.

To celebrate 20 years of service, we’re giving back to the communities that made it possible! 🎉

On the 20th of every month, stop by any Superior Fuel office and get a 20-lb propane cylinder filled for just $10!

📍 Minnesota: Duluth, Ely, Virginia, Park Rapids, and Brainerd
📍 Wisconsin: Spooner and Hayward

There is a limit of two cylinders per customer. Offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. If the 20th falls on a weekend, the special will be honored on the Friday prior.

Happy 5-Star Friday! This week, we're celebrating a wonderful 5-star review recognizing Jacup for his outstanding service in the field and our Park Rapids office team for making the customer experience easy from the very first phone call.

During the summer, Jacup serves our customers as a Service Technician, and in the winter, he transitions to a Delivery Driver, helping keep homes and businesses fueled all year long.

Earlier this week, Park Rapids team member Emil had the opportunity to join Jacup in the field, and the two are pictured here during the ride-along.
