One thing the room kept coming back to on June 16th:
You are not communicating the way you think you are.

Not because you are not trying. Not because you do not care. But because every one of us filters what we hear through a communication style that is wired into how we are built — and until we understand that about ourselves and the people across from us, we will keep having the same missed connections, the same friction, the same conversations that go sideways despite good intentions.
