Bulk Collection Notice:

Please be advised that a maximum of four (4) bulk items per household, per collection is permitted. Placing more than four items at the curb is a violation of Borough Ordinance 8.12.070 – Violations & Penalties.

Home and garage cleanouts are the responsibility of the homeowner and are not covered under regular bulk collection.

Metal items are collected on Fridays.
Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must have a valid Freon sticker to be collected. Stickers cost $20 per appliance and are available at: Ship Bottom Borough Hall, Clerk’s Office – 2nd Floor

There’s nothing spooky about French onion soup. Except maybe the way I inhale it while it’s still hot enough to burn the roof of my mouth.

The cheese pull that never ends, trying not to choke on it, peeling the crispy cheese off the sides, and saving that last piece of bread at the bottom like it’s some kind of reward. IYKYK.

It’s officially soup season, but let’s be clear, French onion soup is a year-round commitment.

And Jersey Girl on LBI is one of the best. Even the skeleton knows what’s good.

Thanksgiving leftovers, a little fresh air, and a good cause. 🦃🦌

The Reynolds Family Foundation is hosting its FIRST Reindeer Run on Saturday, November 28th, in Beach Haven!

A 5K for the ambitious, a 1-mile fun run/walk for the rest of us, and festive holiday outfits are encouraged. 🎄

All entry fees go toward local initiatives helping those in need in our community. ❤️

And did I mention November 28th is also my birthday? So if anyone wants to run 3.1 miles in my honor while I celebrate turning another year older, I fully support that. 😉

One of our favorite things about the off-season? The dinner specials.

Russo’s in Ship Bottom just rolled out their fall and winter prix fixe menus. $35 or $47 gets you garlic rolls, soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert. Not bad for a night out.

And while we’re talking carbs, they also have penne vodka and gnocchi pesto served IN BREAD BOWLS.

Bikini season is seven months away, and my theory is we need the extra carbs to stay warm all winter. Nobody fact-check that.

Budget-friendly and carb-friendly. We love the off-season.

Pumpkins, pizza, hayrides, and a little fall fun by the bay.

Long Beach Township is hosting its Harvest Hayride & Pizza Fest this Saturday at Bayview Park!

Free hayrides, pumpkin picking and painting, face painting, live music, pumpkin carving demonstrations, plus plenty of pizza, food, and drinks.
