Lost Art Wyoming Photo

Lost Art Wyoming Photo I started taking pictures in my early 20's where I grew up in Maine. It has always been a passion of mine. Wyoming grew to be a part of who I was.

Ive enjoyed travel and great family memories with my photography. I got semi-serious when I was living in Wyoming, hence the name. The land, culture, and the people. We have continued our spirit of adventure by moving to Arizona. The name will never change. Because Wyoming is who we are. Down to earth, good folk, who love good friends, good family, and good times.

After a few years of intermittent postings and photos and a few changes within my personal life, Lost Art is coming back. Some new gear, some new life views, and a new commitment to myself. Over the coming weeks I’ll be out and about taking photos to post and who knows, maybe some prints for sale. We shall see. Thank you all for checking in looking for photos. The coming months should be good and I’m excited.

On this day in 1775: American patriot Patrick Henry is said to have proclaimed, "I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" As war with Britain seemingly became inevitable, Henry's words energized the patriot effort to dispose of tyranny and secure freedom. While many highlight the latter of the quote, it is important that the former be recognized as well. Our patriots did not know the extent to which they would be supported in the revolution, or their fate should they have failed. Their courage taking a stand for liberty serves as inspiration for all generations who will always have the responsibility to defend freedom from whatever and wherever the threat may be.

Note from LOC: "No text of the “Liberty or Death” speech in Henry’s hand has survived, nor has any contemporary version of it, so the precise text is not known. However, U.S. Attorney General William Wirt recreated the speech from the recollections of those who had heard it. In 1817 Wirt published the speech, along with descriptions of Henry’s speech-giving mannerisms in a biography of Patrick Henry: Sketches of the Life and Character of Patrick Henry. Another reliable full text of the speech is available on the Yale Law School’s Avalon Project Website." https://www.loc.gov/item/today-in-history/may-29/

Traveled up north to Sedona today to take some family pictures! The youngest wasn't feeling well, so we packed it in early and I didn't realize until we got home that I didn't get any pictrues of myself and the boys.
