Barrels 12 Days of Christmas Drink ideas

Christmas Snowstorm Margarita

Ingredients
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1-2 teaspoons honey or granulated sugar, adding more or less to taste
2 ounces silver tequila
1/2 ounce coconut rum
1/2 ounce orange liquor
juice of 1/2 lime
fresh mint, for serving
sugared cranberries, for serving

Instructions
1. Bring the coconut milk and sugar to a simmer over medium heat in a small saucepan. Simmer 1 minute, then remove from the heat and let cool. To quickly chill, add a of couple ice cubes.
2. Fill a cocktail glass with ice.
3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, coconut rum, orange liquor, lime juice, and coconut milk. Shake to mix. Strain into your prepared glass. Top with sugared cranberries and mint.

Notes
If you are using canned coconut milk when you pour it over ice it will curdle up a bit if not stirred. It's still delicious, but you need to give it a stir before drinking to mix everything around again. And if you make the the pitcher margarita, just be sure to give the batch a good stirring before you serve. The coconut milk can separate from the liquors as it chills.

Adult Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS
4 cups Whole milk
2 tbsp Sugar
½ Vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla
6 oz Dark chocolate (60%)
1 tsp Sea salt
4 oz Bourbon
2 oz Frangelico
2 oz Irish cream
Marshmallows

DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan heat milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla over medium-low heat until sugar and salt are completely dissolved. Make sure the milk does not come to a boil. Add the chocolate in pieces, whisking until completely incorporated. Remove from heat.
Once removed from heat, stir in bourbon, Frangelico, and Irish cream. Serve immediately with marshmallo

Boozy Grinch Punch

INGREDIENTS
1 (0.13-oz.) packet Kool-Aid Lemon Lime mix
4 c. water
4 c. ice
3 c. lemon-lime soda
2 c. pineapple juice
2 c. vodka
1 c. ginger ale
Lime wedges, for ri***ng
Red sanding sugar, for ri***ng

Directions

Mix juice, vodka, and ginger ale in a large pitcher. Add Ice to cool.
Use a lime wedge to rim glasses and dip in sanding sugar to coat. Pour punch into glasses to serve.

Mistletoe Moscow Mule

INGREDIENTS
2 oz vodka
1 oz fresh lime juice
Ginger beer Q or Fever tree are ideal
Garnish cranberries, lime & mint or rosemary
Optional 1/2 tsp fresh ginger

Directions
Fill two copper mugs with ice.
Pour 1-ounce vodka and 1/2 ounce lime juice over ice in each mug.
Pour ginger beer into each cup until mostly full.
Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, crushed candy cane, and garnish with a whole candy cane and a mint sprig.

Peachy Keen

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka
1/4 oz. Peach schnapps
1 oz. Lemon juice
Spoon of peach jam or preserves
2 Dashes of peach bitters
Club soda, to top
Lemon wheel, to garnish

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a tin and shake to combine.
Pour into a collins glass or mason jar filled with ice. Top with splash of soda water.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.

FRENCH MARTINI

Excite your senses with the tongue-tingling flavors of the French Martini. With perfectly balanced flavors of raspberry sweetness, tart pineapple and smooth vodka, what more could you want?

Ingredients
1⁄2 part Chambord
1 & 1⁄2 part vodka
2 part pineapple juice
Garnish with raspberry & black raspberry

Method
Take a shaker and pour Chambord, vodka, pineapple juice and ice.
Then we shake.
To finish, we strain into a martini glass and garnish with a raspberry.
