Right inside the bigLITTLE tasting room we have a market stand with some local goodies!
One of our vendors, Aggie Treats, is a local dog treat business that makes the best treats for your pups.
Karen shared a little about the story behind Aggie Treats, and we couldn't wait to pass it along. 🐾
What started as baking homemade dog treats for friends quickly turned into something much bigger. After years as a teacher and later working in the corporate world, Karen decided to follow a new path that gave her more time with her daughter and the chance to build something of her own.
Named after her beloved golden retriever, Agnes ("Aggie"), every Aggie Treat is still handmade in Northern Michigan using all-natural, human-grade, preservative-free ingredients. What began with one Pumpkin Peanut Butter recipe has grown into six delicious flavors, including several made with ingredients from fellow local businesses.
Karen says her favorite part of this journey has been meeting so many wonderful pups and their people while building relationships with the incredible local business community. We feel lucky to be one of those partners, and we're proud to have Aggie Treats available here at bigLITTLE for your four-legged friends! 🐶🍷
