There’s a reason Kimmi and I decided to teach this one together. 👀
Because being handed an estate plan requires more than just knowing where to put your stamp.
Kimmi of Notary Educators™ spends a LOT of time teaching notaries how to strengthen their notarial fundamentals. Thats how to identify the notarial act, properly complete the certificate, screen the signer, and actually understand what they’re doing instead of just following arrows on a page.
And then there’s the other side of it...
I spend a good portion of my week actually sitting at the table for estate plan signing appointments.
Wills. Trusts. Powers of Attorney. Advance Directives. Witnesses. Multiple notarial acts. Multiple signers.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something:
Knowing how to notarize the individual documents and knowing how to navigate the entire appointment are two different skill sets.
You need BOTH.
So when Kimmi and I started talking about putting together an in-person training, the combination just made sense.
She’s bringing the notarial foundation.
I’m bringing the real-world estate plan signing experience.
And on October 3, we’re putting the two together.
Not just talking at you for three hours, either. 😂
You’ll actually get your hands on estate plan documents, work through them, practice the process, and walk through mock signing scenarios before you're trying to figure it all out with a real client sitting across the table from you.
