The event will feature honored speakers and a special live performance by the Silver Dollar Band. Let's come together to honor our community's heroes. We will proceed rain or shine. ☔️ REMINDER: Regrettably, the Swattie Send Off scheduled for this Saturday from 5:00 - 9:00 PM has been CANCELLED due to a very rainy weather forecast that poses safety risks for our Reggae band, food truck vendors, volunteers and guests. UPDATE: Please note that the College fireworks display originally scheduled for 9:15 PM is also CANCELLED. We are truly disappointed that we cannot celebrate this milestone together with the College's graduating seniors and their families. We are sending our absolute best wishes to the entire Class of 2026! 🎓✨

ATTENTION: IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATES!!
First, the Amped Up concert featuring singer/songwriter Ryan Laliberte has been moved INDOORS tonight, 5/21, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Please join us for a lively performance at WaR3house 3. Snacks are on the house, and you can BYOB. Our thanks to Ryan and Rob Borgstrom for the last minute pivot!

Secondly, we are terribly sad to report that the Swattie Send Off on Saturday (5-9PM) has been CANCELLED. The weather forecast remains dismal, and we don't want to risk unsafe conditions for our Reggae band, the food truck vendors, volunteers, and of course, guests. We are truly disappointed we won't be able to celebrate with the graduating seniors and their families. We wish all the Class of 2026 graduates the very best! (NOTE, stay tuned on updates from the College on the plans for fireworks at 9:15pm!)

SATURDAY, 5/23, 5:00-9:00pm - Swattie Send Off, featuring a live Reggae band, food trucks, outdoor dining on Park Ave., and fireworks for the College graduation celebration

MONDAY, 5/25, 10:00am - Memorial Day ceremony and dedication of the renovated memorial

Are you AMPED UP for STC's summer concert series in the amphitheater? Join us next Thursday, 5/21 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm for our kick off event featuring live music by acoustic singer/songwriter Ryan Laliberte from Wallingford, PA. Ryan's concert last year was a wash because of terrible thunderstorms, so let's give him a warm welcome back to Swarthmore! Grab a bite to eat downtown and make a picnic in the amphitheater. We'll also have an ice cream truck and face painter for the kiddos!

We’re thrilled to announce the PAC Center is THE WINNER of the PHL17 Delco Gives PSA Challenge! 🏆

Last month, dozens of Delaware County submitted a 30-second PSA to promote their mission as part of the Delaware County Foundation’s Delco Gives campaign.

The public was invited to vote for their favorite PSA from a field of 10 semifinalists — and the PAC Center won! 🥳

We’re so excited to receive this honor!

This morning, Executive Director Rosemary Fox and Marketing MaPHL17 Corey Ullman were invited to the PHL17 studio to be interviPositively Phillymorning news show and Positively Philly program to discuss all the fantastic pPark Avenue Community Centering at the Park Avenue Community Center. 🙌

Sending a huge shoutout to our incredible staff, teachers, board members and our amazing COMMUNITY, without which none of this would be possible! 🌟
