Trap out successful. 1/8 inch welded wire formed into cone. They can get out and not get back in.

They eventually go into the box instead. Lots of tape and cardboard to seal up holes and gaps. Homeowners kept an eye on possible breaches and I would come out and repair them. Took five weeks (approximately). Last inspection done a couple days ago proof positive queen is in the box…..closed them up at night and moved them to a wooden five frame box and feeding them to get them weight for winter. I’m very hopeful and I was shocked to see her. SUCCESS!
