"Why Is Your Basement Wet?

Most of the time, it's because the drain tile (a drain at the bottom of the foundation) is clogged. Local code inspectors require builders to install a gravity-fed drain when possible, which means there should be a pipe somewhere on the property that's lower than the basement floor. However, these drains are often forgotten and can become clogged with yard waste or animal nests.
We use simple steel probe to locate the pipe and clear blockages. By doing so, homeowners can save thousands of dollars in potential repairs. In fact, I've silenced numerous sump pumps simply by finding and unclogging this drain.
