we have to remember to show up for ourselves.

Not every opportunity is assignment.

Pause.
Listen 👂🏾

Listen for the message.
Listen for the discernment.
Listen for the covering.

There is wisdom in the quiet.
There is protection in obedience.
There is clarity when you’re aligned.

The noise will try to rush you.

✨💜🤍It’s time to step into the light! ✨

I’ve spent over 30 years in healthcare & human services starting my academic journey at age 15 and rising to the executive level. Along the way, I’ve seen so many brilliant women dim their light just to survive the system.

Today, I’m sharing a first look at the cover of my book: RECLAIM: A Woman Leader's Guide to Thriving in Healthcare Without Dimming Your Light.

This project is the heart of my doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership. I’m researching how we can fix the gaps like the gender pay gap, that keep women from staying in the senior positions they’ve worked so hard to earn.

My goal is to help human service and healthcare organizations become places where leadership doesn't come at the cost of your soul. We are targeting a 2027 release to celebrate the completion of my EdD studies! 🎓

To everyone who has been a part of my journey at Latoya Monique LLC, thank you for your support. This book is for us.
