Newman & Lickstein can confirm that our client, Mrs. Azalea King, has reached a mutually agreeable resolution with OCIDA. As this is a sad and difficult day for Mrs. King, this resolution provides for just compensation to our client to address the damages and hardship she has had to endure. Nevertheless, she did not want to stand in the way of a development that will benefit the residents of Onondaga County. Mrs. King is thankful she will be able to stay in the community that has given her such a tremendous outpouring of support throughout this process. She and her family are grateful for the legal process and Mrs. King is now focused on moving forward with her life and enjoying time with her family. Newman & Lickstein is proud to have represented her in this matter.

Azalia King was the last holdout preventing the construction of a Micron "megafab." Onondaga County authorities threatened to use eminent domain to take her home away by force.
