Today, we share significant news about the future of Quadrant Biosciences. After extensive evaluation and despite our best efforts, we have made the difficult decision to significantly reduce operations across several of our subsidiary companies.

This decision comes after months of intensive work to navigate the challenging healthcare and investment landscapes. Despite our innovative approaches and the dedication of our exceptional team, we have been unable to overcome the financial barriers created by the current market conditions.

We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for our employees, patients, and partners and are actively exploring opportunities to preserve the value of our assets and intellectual property.

To our employees: Your tireless efforts, expertise, and passion have been the cornerstone of our mission. The impact you've made in healthcare and biotechnology will resonate far beyond Quadrant Biosciences.

To our patients and healthcare partners: We are deeply grateful for your trust. We are working diligently to ensure continuity of care and will communicate directly about next steps.

While this chapter is closing, we are immensely proud of our achievements. In just two years, As You Are served nearly 18,000 children across the nation. Quadrant Laboratories advanced diagnostic science, and our other subsidiaries pushed the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare and biotechnology.

Our CEO, Richard Uhlig, and CFO, Richard Bongo, met with Congressman Marc Molinaro, who serves New York’s 19th Congressional District and is a champion for children with autism and their families. We shared news about the success of our own virtual clinic, As You Are, in collapsing wait times for an autism evaluation, as demonstrated by having provided nearly 10 percent of all autism diagnoses in the United States this October!

Quadrant Biosciences’ CEO, Rich Uhlig, was honored with the Upstate Medical University's 2023 President’s Award for Distinguished Service at their annual Fall Faculty Convocation. This award stemmed from Quadrant’s work during the pandemic in setting up community testing sites on SUNY campuses across New York State to test for COVID with the COVID-19 Saliva Test.

This COVID test utilizes science and technology that was made possible by the collaboration between Quadrant Laboratories, Upstate Medical University and research partner of Quadrant Biosciences Dr. Frank Middleton, who is a professor of neuroscience, biochemistry, psychiatry and pediatrics at Upstate Medical University and was also honored during the convocation with the 2023 President’s Award for Excellence and Leadership in Research.
