Hello everybody and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
2018 wasn't such a good year, physically. My wife had some serious problems with her legs and back and , after having been over-prescribed water pills, went into Stage 3 kidney failure because she was so dehydrated. She's feeling somewhat better now but she still has problems. 2019 hasn't started out good for me either. The day after Christmas I came down with a bad cold that turned into bronchitis. Then I had shoulder surgery to remove bone spurs, a bursa sack, and to remove part of my clavicle. I've fallen a few times and hurt the repaired shoulder and my back. I'm feeling sore but at least I can move.
I really enjoy my job. I get to read a great book and do my part to make sure sentence structure is correct, the right punctuation is used, names of characters aren't switched or spelled different in other places in the book. Sometimes, I even have to rewrite a paragraph or two just so it makes more sense but that doesn't happen very often.
If you are a new author or an author who has gone independent, please contact me. I've edited for several authors including Irish Winters, Kristin Holt, Kelli Ann Morgan, Charlene Raddon, L.L. Muir, and Indiana Wake. If you've heard of these fine authors, please feel free to contact any of them and ask them about my work.
Thank you all and I hope to hear from any of you soon.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope that all of you have a great day with friends and family.
I'm really thankful for the authors I have the privilege to work with. In the year and a half that I've been doing this I've been able to read (and edit) some wonderful books. I've done Mail Order Bride romances, contemporary romances, Amish, Regency, and military romances. I've also done a few fantasy and shape-shifter books too. To paraphrase Michaelangelo (TMNT), "I love being an editor!"
I'm thankful for my family. I have a wonderful wife who blessed me with 5 children who have blessed me with 7 grandchildren and three sons-in-law. I'm also thankful for my extended family: my sweet mother, brother, sister, and my nieces and nephews. I'm grateful for the Palmer family I was born into. Out of 11 uncles and aunts, I only have Uncle Van and Aunt Joy left, and I have the most amazing cousins in the world.
I am very thankful for my faith in God and for all the blessings He has given me. I'm thankful for my savior, Jesus Christ, and for his willingness to sacrifice His life so that I can live with them again if I only do what they ask of me.
I'm thankful to be living in this country. It's so sad the way so many are rioting, burning our flag, dissing our President, and doing everything that, if they did it anywhere else, they could be jailed for or worse. We need to unite and make the United States of America great again.
Thank you for all the support you've shown to me in so many different ways.
God Bless You All!

Hello again everybody! I just got home after spending a week with my son, Steven, down in sunny St George, Utah. I wasn't home to celebrate the birthdays of my grandson, Braylon, or my daughter, Kathy, but we'll get together this coming weekend. It was Pioneer Day in Utah on July 24th, and there were lots of activities including rodeos, baseball games, and good food. I come from good pioneer stock. It's a privilege to be a member of the Palmer family. They settled in Arizona, in the towns of Taylor, Snowflake, Joseph City, Winslow, and Show Low. My father followed his older brother to Utah and after his tour of duty as a USMC platoon sergeant, that's where we settled. I've lived in Roosevelt, Clearfield, Sunset, and I've raised my family in Syracuse, Utah (not to be confused with Syracuse, New York).
I learned to love reading at an early age when my Grandma Bennett
gifted me, on my birthday, with a set of books which included Robinson Crusoe, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and The Three Musketeers. Now, I have a great career reading for a living. I have had the great pleasure of copy editing/proofreading for some fantastic authors. If you are looking for someone with those talents, please contact me.
Make sure, during this hot time of year, that you keep yourselves and your children and pets hydrated. DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS IN YOUR CAR!! I cannot stress enough how important that is.
Take care everyone, until next time.

I hope all you fathers out there had a wonderful Father's Day. I spent the day with my wife and kids and grandkids. Looking at them and the things they've achieved makes me wonder how they did it with a dad like me. Their mother and grandmother did an awesome job of teaching by her example and patience. At least now, as a copy editor, I can spend more time with them. I am one lucky man.

Hello again, everybody. If any of my friends know of an author who is in need of a copy editor, please have them check out my page, RVP the Man Editing. I have worked with several known authors such as Indiana Wake, Kristin Holt, Kimberley Krey, E.E. Burke, Irish Winters, and Robyn Ackland, to name a few. I love to read and I enjoy making an author's work as error-free as possible. My rates are reasonable and I work quickly so the author can get their product out to make any deadline. I've even been known to edit a chapter at a time to help beat a deadline. Please share as much as possible. I will be a very happy camper. 😌

Hi friends, family, readers, and authors,
I am so very lucky to be doing something I love. I've enjoyed reading ever since my Grandma Bennett presented me with a set of classic books including King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Robinson Crusoe, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Gulliver's Travels. As I got older I learned to love most genres. However, I still do NOT like horror of any kind. After working for close to 40 years, I was given the opportunity to retire, which I gladly took. Then, 5 years later I finally got my dream job: reading for a living. Thanks to my daughter, who writes historical romance, I was able to turn my hobby into a
profession. I'd like to personally like to thank My daughter, KelliAnn Morgan, and the first four authors who took a chance on a newbie to edit their books: Robyn L Ackland, Kristin Holt, Kim Krey, and Indiana Wake. Without their trust, I wouldn't be enjoying the success I have attained so far. Due to word-of-mouth of these great writers I now have been able to work with such wonderful writers as Irish Winters, LL Muir, Terri Grace, Elen Free, Jamie Thompson, E.E. Burke, Jenny Creek Tanner, Paige Tyler, and Charlene Raddon. Thank you for everything! And, if you're looking for an editor/proofreader, just shoot me an email at [email protected], and let's keep the ball rolling. 😀
