Hey Pacific Northwest! You might have noticed that eBay is currently experiencing a number of technical issues related to site functionality.

Many users are reporting that they are unable to login, getting a "site not found" error on internet browsers or are experiencing issues with shipping orders or uploading tracking information.

Please know that eBay's engineers are aware of the issue and are working very hard to correct the problem(s) as soon as possible.

I only have done a small handful of auctions on Ebay in all these years but I have had people bid and win items and then cancel. This is GOOD news!

Ebay have recognized that there’s nothing more frustrating than an auction ending just for the winning bidder to show a bit of buyers remorse and submit a cancellation request. Now, from the 13th of May, winning bidders will be forced to follow through and pay – Ebay.com are removing the option for buyers to cancel winning bids.

This is really important, as removing the winning bid sometimes means a long drop down to the underbidder. It’s not fair on the seller and it’s kind of not fair on other bidders either who may have missed out on the chance of a bargain if they hadn’t been outbid. Moral of the story, only bid what you’re willing to pay!

Some shake ups at ebay with 6% of employees being let go. Including some of my contact people within the Ebay Sellers Circles group. I'm waiting to see what happens next before attempting to set up more meetings. I'll keep all updated here. :)
