Nearly 2/3 of all traffic in and out of our regional ports is to or from China.

Also, our experience is that most small- and medium-size enterprises in need of components, parts, or a market to sell product find that they end of doing business with China.

Chinese language learning in our universities, however, is down. After peaking in 2013, it has declined precipitously since 2016.

Having even a little Chinese familiarity makes a huge difference in the outcome of business transactions with China.

The World Trade Center Tacoma is now partnering with Pacific Lutheran University and CIWA to offer Chinese classes. See below for more information.
