AAA is looking for a CSR
JOB SUMMARY:
1. Provide services to clients and potential clients’ insurance needs.
2. Assist the Insurance Producer in clerical tasks related to life, property, casualty, health, automotive, or other types of insurance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
To succeed as a customer service representative, the perfect candidate needs to possess the following qualities, skills, abilities, and knowledge, which most employers require:
1. Ability to multi-task.
2. Ability to handle and pacify difficult customers.
3. Effective communication skills – both verbal and non-verbal.
4. Must always be friendly and willing to provide assistance others.
5. Able to retain data and details regarding insurance policies, claims or other pertinent information.
6. Basic computer and typing skills.
7. Must be punctual at all times and able to put in flexible working hours.
8. A good listener with sound judgment.
9. Ability to cope in a fast paced job environment.
10. He/she must be able to critically analyze all situations and solve problems efficiently.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure that clerical information is entered correctly and accurately for customers’ payments and changes to their policies. Analyze customer’s complaints and recommend solutions.
2. Ensure that clerical information is entered correctly and accurately when assisting the Insurance Producer
3. Discuss with customers on telephone and provide information on the company’s products and services.
4. Record all conversations with clients with details of inquiries or complaints and action steps that were taken.
5. Call up customers who had previously called to complain to know if their challenges have been resolved and to ensure that they are now satisfied.
6. Send newsletters, mails, and other forms of correspondences to customers.
7. Receive reports of claims and communicate reports of investigation to the clients.
8. Forward all filed claims to the appropriate department for handling and investigation.
9. Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies.
10. Liaise with other departments and provide support to them.
11. Assist clients in filing of policy documents and contact them whenever any error is discovered, or when it needs to be corrected.
12. Receive visiting customers and provide them with necessary assistance.
13. Manage and protect the reputation of the company.
14. Maintain strong clientele relationship with customers.
15. Other duties as assigned by office manager, Supervisor or members of management.
EVALUATION:
Initial 90 day Probationary Review, Annual appraisal and any additional reviews as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
PHYSICAL LABOR REQUIREMENTS:
Functioning auditory, speech and visual skills. Must be self-mobile.
