Since July of 2023 Dane has scaled a learning curve so vertical, I don't know how he didn't tip over but here he is, taking Hansen Management & Maintenance Company, Inc. straight to the finals for Tahoe Truckee's Best Of for 2024.

The most touching part for me is that someone had to anonymously nominate HMMCo to start with and now here we are, we made it to the final round of voting!

Deutsche bobcat ready for the next round. Two spools rebuilt in hydraulic control valve. Immediately after fixing the lift spool the O ring went out in the tilt spool (as seen in the video in the comments) Chased that around the hydraulic system. Luckily, Dane didn’t have to chase the check ball and springs around the bottom of the tractor for the tilt spool.

Toxic algae detected in General Creek on Tahoe's west shore: please be aware that samples taken in General Creek, in the location shown in the map below, have shown the presence of the cyanotoxin microcystin, at levels that trigger posting of warnings.

Recreators and dog walkers should note this situation and stay away from algal mats in the water. Do NOT let pets drink the water or eat algal mats in the water or on the shore. Keep children AWAY from algal mats and do NOT allow children to touch or eat algal mats. Algal mats can be attached to the bottom of the waterway, floating in the water, or washed up on shore. Swimming is allowed in areas without algal mats.

Hansen Management and Maintenance Company is looking for a full-time maintenance person. Applicant must be able to perform various property-related maintenance tasks such as landscaping, pool & spa sanitation, minor carpentry, and snow removal. Applicant must be able to respond to Association maintenance challenges, articulately interact with clients, and act as a trained observer to ensure the property is safe and secure. Compensation will be commensurate with skill level, experience, and performance. Health insurance and 401K plan available.

Qualifications include:

-Ability to perform manual labor
-Handyman skills
-Must be polite and adept at dealing with clients.

Applicant must be able to respond to Association maintenance challenges, articulately interact with clients, and act as trained observer to ensure property is safe and secure. Compensation will be commensurate with skill level, experience, and performance. Health insurance and 401K plan available.

Qualifications include:

-Handyman skills
-Must have strong and confident verbal skills
-Must be detail oriented
-Must be polite and adept at dealing with challenging clients.
