Pavers came out sharp, even though the manufacturer changed the color dye mid pallet😬. Made for an interesting finish, but we got it done and client is happy. One and a half inches of fall away from the house,quikrete edge and a good 6 inch base of compacted three-quarter minus with a 1/2 inch of decomposed granite for  fine-tuning. These pavers won’t move.  A good base makes all the difference.

Some concrete demo today for some folks that have water pooling due to sinking foundation. Got a little relief cut. This allows to make some room when removing slab without chipping corners and edges. Especially when you’re using an excavator.
