She captures the soft pastel gradients of alpenglow and the textures of the Arctic landscape with incredible detail. This summer, we purchased a rare film camera collection at a garage sale while passing through the Kenai Peninsula; including various large format cameras, 35 mm cameras, lenses, expired film, flashes, etc. This collection has inspired a new appreciate for the craft at its simplest form. Developing the first couple rolls of black & white has been a rewarding experience; connecting us back to the tactile process of slowing down and creating with intention.
