When it looks like everyone’s ahead of you, it can be awfully discouraging. Feeling behind like you’ll never get to the front.

But that doesn’t have to be your story! It wasn’t the story of this years Kentucky Derby winner!! Last place to first place just when it mattered most.

Best advice I can give. Find someone who believes in you and wants to see you succeed, put your horse blinders on, and run like hell!

My neighbor just pulled up alongside me, rolled his window down and said, “I’m impressed! You’re walking two dogs, doing work on your phone, and getting exercise!”

And I realized in the moment while it was true, I wasn’t doing any of them well.

The dog leashes were tangled. I was literally walking at a snails pace. And as I was trying to reply to a comment, I just posted it under the main post.

Sometimes multitasking isn’t always productive.

So today, I’ll put my phone down, and look up to the trees as I walk these pups and break a sweat.

And when I get to my desk, I’ll be twice as focused. While, also scheming on how I can get AI to do some of my work for me.

Self care is something I try and make time for. If my cup isn’t full, how can I fill others. This mornings breathwork and brunch hosted by & was just what I needed.
