Sunrise Consulting Group recently joined Green Thumb Industries - GTI for a tour of its Ocala grow facility, where we had the opportunity to learn more about the company’s operations and the broader issues shaping Florida’s cannabis industry.

We appreciate the GTI team for opening their doors, sharing their expertise, and providing an inside look at the work happening at the facility. We also thank Senator Ralph Massullo, District 11, and his team for taking the time to participate in the visit and engage directly with industry leaders.

Bringing policymakers, stakeholders, and industry professionals together for conversations like these is an important part of fostering informed policy and strengthening relationships across Florida.

Last week, the Sunrise Consulting Group team had the opportunity to visit LifeStream Behavioral Center’s Citrus County facility and see firsthand the impact of their work in the community.

Sunrise Consulting Group was proud to champion state funding for LifeStream’s Dementia & The Baker Act: A Better Path Forward initiative. This program will provide a specialized, community-based alternative for seniors with dementia and other cognitive impairments who might otherwise face unnecessary Baker Act commitments, emergency room visits, or psychiatric hospitalization.

We are grateful to the LifeStream team for hosting us and for their continued commitment to expanding compassionate, innovative behavioral health services for individuals and families across Citrus County.

Sunrise Consulting Group's Danielle Thomas was pleased to join the School District of Manatee County in recognizing the first anniversary of the Soar in 4 Lab at the Sara Scott Harllee Center.

The Soar Lab provides children and families with hands-on learning opportunities designed to strengthen early literacy, math, science, creativity, and school-readiness skills. The program also equips parents and caregivers with resources to support continued learning beyond the classroom.

We are grateful to Senator Jim Boyd and Representative Will Robinson for supporting this important initiative and for their continued commitment to expanding educational opportunities for children and families in Manatee County.

This morning, Sunrise Consulting Group joined Senator Stan McClain for a firsthand look at the ongoing restoration work along the Rainbow River.

Gene McGee participated in the tour alongside our client, Sea & Shoreline, as the team highlighted the progress being made to improve water quality, remove invasive vegetation and excess organic material, and restore native aquatic habitat throughout this iconic Florida waterway.

We appreciate Senator McClain’s continued commitment to protecting the Rainbow River and his support, alongside Representative JJ Grow, for securing state funding that is helping move this important restoration work forward.
