Sometimes we have to get low! When a house is off grade, we make sure to check that all penetrations under the house are sealed. This helps prevent air leakage (both into and out of the house), and keeps out unwanted critter visitors.

I've been trying to keep up with the two Constitutional Amendments concerning solar power that are heading to the November ballot. The initiatives have interesting names. One is Floridians for Solar Choice (http://www.flsolarchoice.org/) and the other is Consumers for Smart Solar (https://smartsolarfl.org/). Now...given those two names/titles, which would you think is most closely connected with the utility companies?

Floridians for Solar Choice is a grassroots citizens’ effort working to help more homes and businesses to generate electricity by harnessing the power of the sun. Because we believe the choice to access solar power should be available to everyone, our coalition is working for the development of good...
