Founded as Hines, Hartman, & Associates in 1977 to provide mechanical and electrical engineering services to the North Florida market, we have grown to provide a variety of engineering services across the United States and Italy. In 2008 we introduced a new name, H2Engineering, keeping our roots but positioning ourselves to move forward. For over thirty years we have provided clients with great service through relationships. We believe that no project is a success without the concerted effort of every team member; and the level of that success is proportional to the team's ability to work together. The relationships we have and continue to build are the foundation of our success. Our founding partner, Mike Hartman, has instilled these values in the company, and principals Matt Scaringe and Ryan Chewning continue to foster them as they steer the company into the future.

Complex projects demand more than technical expertise. They require collaboration, informed decisions, and solutions built around the client’s goals.

H2Engineering brings multidisciplinary expertise to every project, working across disciplines to solve challenges, coordinate systems, and move projects forward from design through completion.
Complex environments. Coordinated solutions. One experienced team.

Every successful project begins with a shared understanding of what matters most. Early conversations between owners and the engineering team create alignment, clarify expectations, and establish the priorities that guide the design process. These discussions also help define the project budget, ensuring that scope, goals, and financial parameters support one another from the start. When the project vision is set early, coordination improves, decisions become more focused, and delivery becomes more efficient from beginning to end.
