On World Bee Day, we’re celebrating some of the hardest-working creatures on the planet. Their individual work may be small in scale, but their collective impact is enormous, supporting ecosystems and agriculture around the globe. At Buzz with Purpose, we borrowed a little inspiration from these tiny powerhouses when we chose our name. Today, we’re raising a glass to the bees — small but mighty and community-minded — and all they do for our world.

Professionally, there are few things I love more than a creative challenge — and this one came in the form of a human slot machine. 🎰 Designed and assembled in Tallahassee, this interactive game made its way to the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session in Orlando, where it became a fun way to celebrate and engage supporters of .info advocacy efforts. This project was a reminder of how public relations efforts can support experiences that make people light up and that they will genuinely remember. Most of all, it was wonderful to spend time in person with the incredible AAO team and see attendees having so much fun.

Being in DC to support .info advocacy efforts came at such a beautiful time of year! 🌸 Thankful for the opportunity to bring their advocacy resources and communications tools to life. Having my family there with me made for a memorable spring break for all of us!

After nearly 10 years in business, I’m excited to share that Allison Aubuchon Communications is now Buzz with Purpose — a name that reflects the work I love doing and the client missions behind it.

“Buzz with Purpose” should sound familiar. It’s been a guiding phrase and tagline in my work for years. While “buzz” in PR can sometimes feel noisy or hollow, what my clients and I create together is anything but. Our work is intentional and strategic — amplifying purpose-driven missions with thoughtful storytelling, advocacy, and creativity.

The bee icon (refreshed) remains front and center in our brand. Bees are small but mighty, nimble, collaborative, and great communicators — qualities I strive to bring to every partnership. I’m thrilled to share that the updated brand was brought to life by talented Tallahassee graphic designer Eric Thomas of Understory, whose work honors the company's foundation while giving us fresh energy for the future.

While our DBA name and visual identity may be changing, our core services remain the same, including strategic planning, graphic design, messaging, media advocacy and coalition-building. The refreshed look is now live at buzzwithpurpose.com -- hope you'll check it out!

It was a pleasure to support and represent the Personal Insurance Federation of Florida at the Florida Chamber Insurance Summit! And it was a honor to moderate the communications panel and share the stage with Alia Faraj-Johnson (Consumer Protection Coalition), Michael Peltier () and William Rabb () — we discussed the importance of getting accurate information to the media quickly + how the entire industry / partners can play a role in communicating. 💪
