We're thrilled to welcome Chris Lewis, Jason Benn, Tristan Gerrell, and Ben Kerr to the SE Forensic team!
Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Building Contractor specializing in transportation engineering, roadway construction practices, infrastructure program management, and building construction practices. He brings 19 years of professional experience across the public and private sectors, and serves as Director of the Forecasting and Performance Office for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) and supports forensic investigations involving motor vehicle collisions, commercial vehicles, and incident documentation. He has completed specialized training in crash data retrieval (CDR), Virtual CRASH simulation, PhotoModeler for collision investigation, and is an FAA Certified Remote Pilot.
Tristan supports forensic investigations involving motor vehicle collisions, commercial vehicles, and incident documentation. He has completed training in scene photography, vehicle data retrieval, arson investigation, and UAV operations, and is an FAA Certified Remote Pilot.
Ben provides technical drafting, visualization, and 3D modeling support for accident reconstruction and forensic engineering investigations. Drawing on a background in CAD, mechanical design, and product visualization, he develops accurate scene diagrams, photogrammetry-based models, animations, simulations, and demonstrative exhibits that communicate complex technical findings clearly and effectively.
