The 2026 YP Summit - what a fantastic day! The event brought together emerging leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across the Tallahassee community for a day centered on growth, connection, and inspiration. From the morning networking to the final closing conversations, the energy throughout the Summit was unmatched.
A highlight of the day was the keynote presentation from Charlie Ward, whose message on perseverance, purpose, and leadership left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. The Summit also featured impactful discussions with local professionals who shared honest insights about their personal and professional journeys, creating space for learning, encouragement, and authentic connection. Conversations around financial strategy, personal safety and mental wellness, social media, and public speaking sparked new ideas and meaningful takeaways that attendees can carry into their careers and community.
We were also proud to recognize this year’s Future 5 Award recipients — five outstanding young professionals whose dedication, leadership, and community impact continue to shape the future of Tallahassee in meaningful ways.
