When you go to check a scale, it isnt just about putting weight on it, seeing if it comes out right and walking away.
Taking the time to put eyes on the equipment, verify clearance and cleanliness. Make notes for the customer to be aware of issues of build up that happen between visits. Work with them to not only keep the equipment accurate that day, but always working for years to come!

The most basic element of a scalemen's job is verifying accuracy. No one likes moving around tons of tests weights but it is the most common act performed every day.
The risks of moving heavy test weights is why safety, communication, and coordination between the technicians and site staff is crucial.
Going home safe at the end of the day is too important to mess up!
