Good afternoon, everyone.

After the winter storm, trash pickup resumed until our trucks reached full capacity. Many surrounding parishes are still dealing with storm impacts, including downed power lines and power outages. The landfill we use is located in a neighboring parish and has also been affected.

At this time, we are unable to resume collection until the landfill reopens and trucks can be emptied. We have been in contact with the landfill, and they are hopeful to resume operations on Monday.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to work through these conditions. Please continue to follow this page for updates.

Dear Valued Customers,

A friendly reminder is provided to inform you that, as of July 14, 2024, trash cans with extensive damage, such as large holes in the bottom or wall, will not be serviced, as previously announced on July 9, 2024. If you would like us to dispose of a damaged can, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist. To request disposal, please call 318-341-6606. For instructions on obtaining a replacement can, kindly contact the Madison Parish Police Jury.

Additionally, please note that trash must be placed in bags within the can. In the event that trash spills out due to not being bagged, Guy’s Waste and Disposal cannot be held responsible.

We would like to remind customers that our staff operates on non-standard shifts. If you encounter an issue and are unable to reach 318-341-6606, please send us a message via this page, and we will respond as soon as possible. We are committed to providing you with excellent service.

The landfill will be closed Monday, December 23-Wednesday, December 25. As a result, we will not be able to run on our regular schedule. Trucks will run until they reach capacity. Once the the landfills open, the trucks will resume the route. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
