The mission of S&G Evidence-based Diversity Solutions is to champion the success of faculty of color.

Dr. Wright is a staunch supporter of faculty of color that has worked extensively delivering empirically-grounded best practice strategies for recruitment and retention of diverse faculty. She is a Psychologist and Nursing Professor whose research is focused on correlates of brain health and cognitive function among Black older adults.

Dr. Gordon is an Associate Professor in Human Development a

nd Family Sciences. Her professional expertise and research experience in interdisciplinary family science research addresses the developmental outcomes of marginalized youth and young adults. As an immigrant and woman of color, she is especially sensitive to spaces that create, encourage, and continually foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
