Thank you to all who have connected and engaged with us for training, coaching, mentorship, and inspiration. Through our work with you, we have learned a lot about ourselves and the next steps in our journey. Natalie is dedicating herself to helping wounded families through finding forgiveness with her newly published book, Forgiving Unforgivable. Sarah is dedicating herself to helping Florida's families and the legal professionals who serve them achieve peace of mind through Kay Family Law PLLC. Given the attention these pursuits require, we have made the difficult decision to sunset King Kay Solutions LLC to allow us to commit the time and attention our other missions require. 🔥How do I make my mediation practice successful? 🔥

Are you trying to transition your litigation practice to doing more mediations and making that transition a success?

We have 3 easy steps that can help you go from a stressful litigation practice to a rewarding mediation practice. 👇🏼

1. Ensure you have the programs needed: Many mediations are being done virtually. Make sure you have the necessary programs to create a successful mediation such as Zoom, Microsoft teams, online calendar, and child support software.

2. Connect with those you know: Letting everyone know you are conducting mediations is the first step to getting a case on your calendar. By and large most of our client base are attorneys who choose us as the mediator. Connecting with everyone that you have every had a case with will broaden your opportunity to conduct a mediation.

3. Have a social media presence: Most successful business owners have a social media platform. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok are just to name a few. Create interesting posts and announce that you are doing mediations. Also, provide your availability in the post.

Congratulations to Judge Helene Daniel, appointed by Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz to the Mediator Qualifications and Review Board. The MQDRB is the body responsible for the speedy investigation and disposition of any complaints submitted under the Florida Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators.

The Board, comprised of 74 members from four regions of Florida (North, Central, Southeast, and Southwest), includes judges, county mediators, family mediators, circuit mediators, dependency mediators and attorneys who meet in complaint committees when grievances are filed against mediators. Well deserved!
