When your favorite luxury brand reaches out to you for a Sound Bath…

Corporate companies, especially luxury brands, don’t reach out by chance or luck.

It takes positioning, branding, consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail.

There are many incredible sound therapy practitioners right now, but landing high-quality corporate wellness opportunities also requires learning how to operate as a confident business owner.

That’s why Sound Therapy Network doesn’t just teach you how to facilitate a nervous-system-safe session. We also teach you branding, business strategy, client experience, professionalism, and how to build a sustainable practice with integrity.

Our next in-person training is coming up in July.

Remember, when you enroll in our full Somatic Sound Therapy™ Practitioner Certification & Mentorship, your in-person training is INCLUDED within your year of support.

It's not about how many instruments to use and debating about which healing frequencies are better.
We focus on what's safe for the nervous system and helping practitioners understand:
✨ overstimulation
✨ trauma sensitivity
✨ emotional attunement
✨ consent & autonomy
✨ nervous system regulation
✨ emotional intelligence
✨ emotionally safe facilitation

We also focus on not replicating dynamics of control, fear, shame, hierarchy, and oppression, because unfortunately, those dynamics absolutely exist within healing spaces too.

We support healing and wellness spaces that feel empowering, grounding, respectful, and emotionally safe.

A huge part of our work is helping practitioners build:
• self-awareness
• discernment
• shame resilience
• healthy communication
• emotional responsibility

Because being a safe practitioner is about so much more than playing instruments.

If this resonates with you, connect with me about our trainings.

Thank you to the practitioners who are contributing to creating more safety, integrity, and emotional intelligence within the healing space.

Someone can know crystals, sound bowls, breathwork, ayahuasca, or nervous system buzzwords and still:
❌ dominate conversations
❌ ignore consent
❌ miss emotional cues
❌ make everything about themselves
❌ overshare without awareness
❌ force connection
❌ spiritually bypass
❌ lack reciprocity
❌ ignore how others feel in shared spaces

That’s the difference between performing healing and embodying emotional attunement.

Inside our trainings, we incorporate emotional intelligence, consent, nervous system awareness, and trauma-informed care to help create emotionally safe practitioners.

What makes our training different is that it’s not built on trends, intuition, or simply repeating what has always been taught in the sound healing space.

For over 5 years, we’ve been researching the nervous system, observing real client responses, conducting test studies, and collecting data on how sound and vibration impact the body.

That research gets funneled directly into our trainings so practitioners can understand not only how to play the bowls, but how to facilitate sessions with more safety, intention, and nervous system awareness.

Sound Therapy is powerful, and powerful work requires responsibility, integrity, and a deeper understanding of the body.

If you’re ready to learn Sound Therapy through a trauma-informed, research-based lens, join us inside the Trauma Informed Sound Therapy Practitioner™ Certification or the full Somatic Sound Therapy™ Practitioner Certification & Mentorship.

Is there a “right or wrong” when it comes to whether a client’s feet or head should be closer to the bowls?

Not necessarily.

However, intention, nervous system safety, and where we are as a society absolutely matter.

Most people today are already overstimulated. We are constantly in our heads, bombarded with technology, notifications, information, and mental pressure.

That keeps a lot of our energy in the upper half of the body.

So when we add more sound and vibration near an area that is already overstimulated, it may not help the client feel grounded. In some cases, it can create more activation instead of regulation.

When we think of grounding, we usually think of the feet.
Feet in the grass.
Feet in the sand.
Feet connected to the earth.

So in Somatic Sound Therapy™, we are very intentional about bringing the sound and vibration toward the lower half of the body and having the client’s feet closer to the bowls when grounding is the goal.

This can help support the client in getting out of their head and reconnecting with their body.

I’ve heard people say before, “I wanted to be so close to the bowls that it washed away all my thoughts.”

While that may sound relaxing, as trauma-informed practitioners, we also have to ask:
Did the client feel deeply regulated?
Or was it so stimulating that it was easy for the client to leave their body?

Not always, but sometimes the ability to astral project started as a trauma response.

Sometimes when a client feels like they left their body, it can be an indication that the nervous system experienced too much.

Unless we are specifically trained and intentionally guiding practices like astral projection, our goal in a trauma-informed sound therapy session is usually embodiment.
✨Presence.
✨Grounding.
✨Nervous system repair.
✨Helping the client feel safe IN their body.

Not encouraging them to leave it.

Little nuances like this make a big difference in our practice.

This is why trauma-informed training is so important.

Our trainings are not based solely on intuition or trends.

They come from years of:
✨ real client experience
✨ test studies
✨ observation
✨ nervous system research
✨ and collected client data inside a full-time wellness studio

At Sound Therapy Network, we’ve spent years studying how sound and vibration truly impact the body, brain, emotions, and nervous system.

What regulates someone.
What overstimulates someone.
What creates emotional safety.
What helps the body soften, process, and release.

This work goes far beyond “playing bowls.”

We teach practitioners to understand:
• nervous system safety
• emotional attunement
• trauma-informed care
• energetic awareness
• client pacing
• intentional sound application
• the emotional root causes connected to the body

Because sound is powerful, and power without understanding can become dysregulating instead of healing.

Our mission is to help create more emotionally intelligent, trauma-informed, and nervous system-safe practitioners in the healing space.

Developing emotional intelligence goes beyond learning healing language. EQ allows us to feel emotionally safe to a client’s nervous system.

Self-awareness is what helps us notice our triggers, judgments, insecurities, ego, projections, and biases before they spill into our sessions, communication, and leadership.

The deeper we understand ourselves, the more grounded, compassionate, and emotionally attuned we become with others.

This is the type of work we do inside our mentorship. Our goal is to create more emotionally safe practitioners.
