For AUTHORS who want more “shine” for their books:
About one-third of the women we work with are authors, so we knew we had to send team members to NYC for the week to attend US Book Show.
This event helps us to keep our fingers on the pulse of emerging trends in the publishing industry.
On day one of , the opening panel included:
• Karen Kang, Culture and Education Partnerships Lead at
• Steph Pilavin () Content Creator at Celestial
• Felicity Vallence (), Director of Digital Marketing, Penguin Young Readers
We appreciate the insight we received from these women (we shared their advice and hot takes in our private “Visibility Vault”. You should join…link in bio!)
But for now, know that authors are expected to collaborate with content creators, but they should prioritize relationship/ partnership over sending a script (creators reeeeeeeally don’t like this) for them to read to “sell, sell, sell”.).
We immediately shared m the fresh intel via WhatsApp with 18 authors we personally know who are eager for these kinds of real-time updates.
Because at TELL, we not only teach women how to strengthen their professional identity, but we also bring them the LATEST trends and updates so their stories, content, and strategies meet the moment.
Ready for day two!
