Fighting for Homeowners in Florida, California & Georgia

Storms. Wildfires. Property Damage. You Don’t Have to Face
Insurance Alone.

Insurance companies have adjusters working for them.
A Public Adjuster works for you.

Across the country, homeowners are dealing with major losses from the three hurricanes that tore through Florida in late 2024 (Debby, Helene, and Milton) to the devastating wildfires across California, and the destruction Hurricane Helene brought into Georgia.

Steven is licensed, experienced, and equipped to help homeowners in all three states recover what they’re owed.

Florida – Hurricanes Debby, Helene & Milton

Late 2024 brought three hurricanes that left widespread roof, structural, and interior damage across Florida. Many homeowners were underpaid, denied, or never had their damage fully inspected.

Deadlines are approaching.
Steven can review, reopen, and fight your claim before time runs out.

California – Wildfire Losses

Wildfires across California left families displaced, homes damaged, and claims severely undervalued. Smoke, soot, ash, and heat damage are often overlooked or minimized by insurance companies.

Steven helps homeowners navigate complex wildfire claims, properly document every layer of damage, and secure the full benefits the policy promises.

Georgia – Hurricane Helene

Helene struck parts of Georgia hard, bringing heavy wind, flooding, roof damage, and widespread tree impact.

Steven assists homeowners in the affected areas by identifying hidden storm damage, reopening claims, and ensuring insurance companies honor their obligations.

Why Hiring a Public Adjuster Matters

1. Full Damage Identification
Hidden roof, attic, moisture, and structural damages are often missed. Steven ensures nothing is overlooked.

2. Strong Documentation & Estimates
Accurate, construction-based estimating backed by decades of hands-on building experience.

3. Skilled Negotiation
Insurance companies respond differently when a knowledgeable adjuster represents the homeowner.

4. Deadline Protection
Steven keeps your claim on track, preventing denials for late filings or missing documents.

5. Reopening Underpaid or Mishandled Claims
Especially for Debby, Helene, Milton, and California wildfire claims, where underpayment is rampant.

Dear Florida Homeowner,

If your property was impacted by Hurricanes Debby, Helene, or Milton and you weren't paid out properly or denied, your time to reopen your insurance claim is running out. Florida law allows homeowners only eighteen months from the date of the storm to reopen or supplement a hurricane claim. After that period, your insurance company is no longer obligated to review or pay additional funds, even if more damage is later discovered.

Many homeowners have found hidden or underestimated damage months after their original claim was closed. This often includes roof, soffit, window, and interior water damage that went unnoticed or was underpaid. Even if you already received payment, you may still qualify to reopen your claim and recover additional funds.

The following deadlines apply to reopen claims for each 2024 storm:

Hurricane: Date of Loss 18-Month Deadline
Debby 8/5/2024 --- 2/5/2026
Helene 9/26/2024 --- 3/26/2026
Milton 10/9/2024 --- 4/9/2026

Once these dates pass, the opportunity to recover additional funds will be gone. Do not wait until it is too late. A professional review of your previous claim may reveal significant funds still available to you.

Hey there friends,

It’s Steven here. I just wanted to have a quick heart-to-heart as a fellow homeowner and friend. I know life gets busy and insurance claims are probably the last thing you want to think about. But I just wanted to give you a friendly heads-up that if you’ve ever felt like you didn’t get the full payout you deserved on a Milton claim, time is running out to reopen it.

I’m here to help make sure you don’t leave any money on the table. If we need to revisit an old Milton claim that maybe didn’t get settled the way it should have, now’s the perfect moment. Just give me a shout if you want to chat it through. We’ll make sure you’re not missing out on what’s rightfully yours.

Hi Homeowners,

I know dealing with insurance companies after damage to your home can feel overwhelming. Between the fine print, the back-and-forth, and the stress of making sure everything gets covered, it’s easy to feel like the odds are stacked against you. That’s exactly why we do what we do.

As Public Adjusters, we work for you. NOT the insurance company. Think of us as your personal advocate in the claims process. Our job is to carefully inspect the damage, prepare a detailed estimate, handle the paperwork, and negotiate with the insurance company to make sure you’re paid what you truly deserve, not just what they want to pay.

Insurance companies have their own adjusters who are paid to protect their bottom line. That’s why it’s so important to have someone on your side who understands construction, policies, and the claims process inside and out. We level the playing field so you don’t have to fight alone.

We’ve helped countless families in situations just like yours recover the funds they need to repair their homes and move forward with peace of mind. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to protect you, your home, and your family’s future.

If you ever find yourself facing a claim, whether it’s storm damage, water damage, fire, or anything else just know you don’t have to go through it alone. We’re here, as both professionals and neighbors, ready to help.

Sincerely,
Steve Lipham

What is a Public Adjuster?

Most people don’t realize they have the right to hire their own licensed professional to represent them, not just rely on the insurance company’s adjuster. That’s where a Public Adjuster comes in.

We work for you, the policyholder, not the insurance company. Our role is to inspect the damage, prepare a detailed estimate, and negotiate directly with your insurance company to make sure you receive every dollar you’re entitled to under your policy.

When damage happens—whether from a storm, fire, or water—you don’t have to navigate the process alone. With Ask An Adjuster, you have an advocate who levels the playing field and protects your best interests.

Why Choose Us?

We handle the entire claims process from start to finish

We maximize settlements fairly and professionally

We save homeowners time, stress, and costly mistakes
