One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from clients is that they should love every aspect of their job. The reality is that no job is perfect.
🎯 A goal I often share with clients is to strive to be happy, engaged, and fulfilled at work about 70% of the time. The other 30% may include challenges, difficult conversations, stress, tedious tasks, or aspects of the role that simply aren't your favorite.
⚠️ If you're unhappy 70% of the time, that's a different story.
This is why knowing yourself is so important. Understanding your values, interests, strengths, skills, and work preferences helps you make career decisions that align with who you are.
🌱 When your work is aligned with your Career DNA, you're much more likely to experience satisfaction, growth, and purpose.
Remember: the goal isn't a perfect career. The goal is finding work that is meaningful enough to sustain you through the inevitable ups and downs.
