What does ✨Thrive in the Hive✨ mean & how can you use it 2024?

Tampa Bay Business Women’s motto, “Thrive in the Hive” is about having a tribe (or hive) you can rely on! Even a Queen Bee can’t do it alone which is why our logo is a honeycomb and not a single bee.💛✨

There’s no need for burning out in our personal lives or in our business. There’s no need to glamorize being stressed & overworked and calling it “hustling.” There is a need for us to grow sustainably and focus on our mental and physical health as we expand our businesses!

Delegation, automation, hiring virtual assistants, hiring social media help, hiring your first employee, applying for small business loans & grants, reaching out to professionals regarding taxes, copyright, legal issues, or whatever it may be is how we grow our business, not by doing it alone.🫶🏻💙

And I believe that networking helps us achieve that when we network properly, with a purpose and an open, giving spirit. When we are willing to provide others our resources and strengths, the same will be reciprocated for us! 🫶🏻 Networking provides us resources!

I encourage you to make 2024 the year you grow your business by networking and also relying on your hive whether that means family, friends, professional contacts or local resources!🌟

Remember to delegate and not being a one-woman show! We are always stronger together! 💛💙

Cheers to 2024 being our best year yet! 🥂

✨Thrive in the Hive✨ Introduce yourself below!🫶🏻

Welcome to Tampa Bay Business Women, an organization created to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals go beyond traditional networking and connect with opportunities, resources, and each other in a fun, dynamic, and professional setting.

Connections matter!🌟 The connections we make (and the support, resources and knowledge they provide), often take our business to the next level!

What I believe will make Tampa Bay Business Women unique:

✨We wholeheartedly encourage collaboration— between other networking groups, women’s organizations, and local chambers. We are stronger together.

✨Macro/micro approach. The macro will encompass Tampa Bay to allow us to meet other women regardless of our geographical location. The micro will allow for smaller, more frequent, local meetings. I look forward to having ambassadors who lead local meetings & represent their community.

✨ The focus on action. The goal is for you to leave every workshop or event with something tangible that you can take into your career or your business. We will go beyond motivation & inspiration, and focus on action to help us master our craft and achieve our business goals.

👋🏼 Introduce yourself & your business below, we’d love to learn more about you!

I invite you to be an active participant and to join our private Facebook group, Tampa Bay Business Women! 💙

A little more more information on the month:

“In October, National Women's Small Business Month highlights the benefits and industry women bring to communities when they own a small business. With over 11 million (and growing!) women owning small businesses in the United States, there's plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Throughout the month, organizations, businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs share resources and advice that support women-owned businesses. Like any small business, the benefits to a community are enormous. Locally owned small businesses bring revenue to communities. Small companies are more likely to support local organizations, schools and projects. They also provide a tremendous number of jobs, keeping local economies going and growing.” - National Day Calendar
