Smell Something Burning? Stop Using That Appliance.

A burning smell coming from your dryer, washer, dishwasher, refrigerator, or oven is something you should never ignore.

It could be caused by overheating components, damaged wiring, friction, or another mechanical or electrical problem. Even if the appliance is still running, continuing to use it could increase the risk of damage or fire.

Here’s what to do:

Washing Machine Repair – Excessive Vibration Addressed!

What Was Wrong?
Our customer was experiencing excessive vibration and balance issues with their washing machine, especially during the final spin cycle and when washing larger loads.

After performing a full diagnostic inspection, we determined that the suspension rods had worn out over time. These components help stabilize the washer during operation, and worn suspension rods can cause excessive shaking and unbalanced loads.

How Did We Fix It?
On October 13, 2026, our technician returned to install new suspension rods. After the replacement, we performed a calibration procedure to help ensure the machine was properly adjusted for operation.

Work Completed:
Replaced the worn suspension rods.
Performed machine calibration.
Addressed the underlying cause of the vibration and balance issues.
Another appliance repair completed! Regular maintenance and timely repairs can help keep your laundry appliances running smoothly.

Washer Repair — Drain Pump Replacement

What was wrong:
The washer was stopping mid-cycle because it was draining too slowly. The drain pump was not removing water quickly enough, preventing the washer from progressing to the higher-speed spin cycle. The technician diagnosed the drain pump motor assembly as the failed component.

How we fixed it:
We returned with the replacement drain pump motor assembly and safely removed the standing water before beginning the repair. The failed pump was removed and replaced with the new upgraded drain pump assembly. All components were reinstalled, power was restored, and the washer was tested.

Washer Cleaning & Maintenance Spotlight!

The Problem: Significant black debris had accumulated beneath the washing machine agitator and along the base of the unit, indicating a buildup that needed attention.

The Solution: Our technician removed the agitator, thoroughly cleaned the agitator and machine base, and extracted additional debris during a follow-up service. A washing machine cleaning tablet was then placed inside the unit to assist with the cleaning process.

The Next Step: The owner was advised to run a courtesy wash cycle and provide feedback on the results.

The Takeaway: Routine cleaning and maintenance can help address debris buildup and keep your washing machine cleaner.
