Sista SISTA (Sisters Informing Sisters about Topics on AIDS) SISTA is delivered in five sessions conducted in three days, two and a half hours each day.

The topics of gender-specific and culturally-relevant sessions include ethnic and gender pride, HIV risk-reduction information, assertiveness skills training, behavioral self- management, and coping skills. In the sessions, women participate in facillitator-led group discussion, role-play, and behavioral skills-building activities. They also view an HIV prevention video and are given take-home activities.
