WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
The Right of Way (ROW) permit during April 5-10 may impact businesses, residents, lessees, and property owners in the impacted area of South Howard Ave and Morrison. It will be a glimpse of what is to come if the City moves forward with their “flood plan.”
Please know what the rules are PLEASE document any violation!
*. No road closures are requested or authorized under this conditional approval. A minimum 10-foot-wide travel lane must be maintained at all times. PLEASE
document any closures of South Howard or any arterial roads. Document any impediments to travel on the northbound lane.
*. All disturbed grass/landscaped shoulder areas, within ROW, shall be restored pursuant to Tampa ROW restoration requirements. Materials used to achieve compliant restoration shall match those materials, in existence prior to commencement of permit work (turf, ground cover, etc.) PLEASE
document any areas in the ROW that are not restored to excavation or better condition.
*. Must notify adjacent property owners, property managers, businesses, tenants impacted by the lane closures 48 hour before beginning work. Starting Monday, note when and what was form of notice you were given. If you were NOT properly noticed, please let your City Council representative know.
*. Access to private properties must be maintained at all times. PLEASE document blocked driveways, parking lots, alleys, side streets, or anything providing access to private property.
We also ask that you note and document any violation of the Southwest Florida Water Management District Environmental Resource Permit, including:
* Any dewatering of open excavations using wells or pumps.
* Any discharge of dewatered groundwater to storm sewer system or other conveyance.
* If there are rain showers document during that week document where the stormwater from the open excavations goes
* Any impairment of an adjoining property’s stormwater drainage system during rainfall such that water backs up and does not drain from the property or conversely drains into the open excavation hole.
