Meet SpotOn Feature: Sarah Holt.

Sarah is one of the creative minds behind SpotOn's brand refresh, the designer and account manager who helped bring our new “S” and target mark to life earlier this year.

Sarah doesn't just design digitally. She's also a letterpress printer, and she brought that craft into the real world by printing Robyn's business cards on her antique 1920’s printing press, turning a piece of paper into a small work of art.

We love having someone on our team who can move fluently between pixels and print, and who brings that same care to every project she touches.

: Cybersecurity marketing teams get asked to prove ROI on deals that take 6–18 months to close, with buying committees of 8–15 stakeholders doing most of their research anonymously before ever raising a hand.

Standard SaaS attribution wasn't built for that.

Our latest guide breaks down the three-tier framework we use to prove real marketing ROI in cybersecurity SaaS: efficiency, quality, and revenue impact, reported in a way finance and the board can actually trust.

If you're a cybersecurity marketing leader tired of defending your budget instead of proving your growth, this one's for you.

“Agency” is doing a lot of work as a word.
It covers four very different kinds of partnerships: full-service agency, boutique specialist, fractional CMO, and in-house hire. Each comes with its own cost, speed, and tradeoff in how much control you keep.
Our founder, Robyn Spoto, broke down how to tell the difference and pick the right fit for where your company is.
🎯 Full-service agencies fit multi-channel needs
🎯 Boutique specialists go deep on one channel or industry
🎯 Fractional CMOs fill a strategy gap
🎯 In-house hires fit permanent, core functions
Not sure which one is missing from your growth plan? Read the full breakdown.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and it's one of the niches we work in for a reason: the stakes are real, the buyers are skeptical, and generic marketing doesn't survive contact with a security-savvy audience.

Over the years we've helped cybersecurity SaaS brands rethink their web design, sharpen their buyer personas, and prove marketing ROI to boards who ask hard questions.

If your cybersecurity brand's marketing still looks like everyone else's (hooded hacker stock photos or robot looking all AI generated images, we're looking at you), this month is a good excuse to fix that.

SpotOn approaches projects using a three-phased approach Plan - Produce - Perform™.

In the Plan phase, we develop a recommended roadmap tied to business outcomes. This process paves the way for the Produce phase.

In the Produce phase, we create assets needed to execute on our recommendations.

The content includes a unique mix based on strategic need. It may include multichannel content, brand assets, and sales collateral needed to move forward with our roadmap.

We never create content just to create content. Because of the Plan phase, we know exactly what assets we need to move toward desired results.

Everyone is scrambling to update their website so they can show up in AI search.

But what changes do you really need?

We asked SpotOn’s Creative Director, Erica Pierce to explain.

“Your website design doesn't necessarily need to change, but how you structure your content and code does.

That means answer-first content, FAQ modules, comparison and spec tables, cleaner internal linking, semantic HTML, schema markup, and consistent entity signals, especially across your highest-priority pages.

And since AI is sending more traffic to homepages than deep pages, you may need to rethink your homepage. Make sure it leads visitors down one clear path. Focus on a primary goal and a secondary goal, not ten different options.

These changes will provide the updates you need to gain more AI visibility and improve conversions on the traffic it sends your way.”

Is your website keeping up with evolving design, development, and content best practices for the AI age? If not, see how SpotOn can help update and elevate your web presence for this new era.

Extending caution. ⚠️

We’re seeing a trend of increased scare tactics and even litigation related to cookie tracking and consent banners on websites.

The common problem is the use of a cookie consent banner that offers a "Reject All" option, but the site keeps collecting data or tracking is initiative before the user selects.

If you have a website, we recommend you confirm:

- Whether non-essential tracking scripts are blocked by default until consent is given
- Whether a "Reject All" choice is actually honored on the backend, not just visually
- Whether the banner and underlying configuration reflect current best practices across your domain and any subdomains, as well as your industry

If you can’t tell if you meet these standards, contact us. We’d be happy to run an audit and collaborate with your CTO and take advisory from your internal team.

Is your team using AI? Are they using it properly?

Many organizations are urging, even requiring, teams to use AI technology, but may fall short in giving clear guidelines for specific applied uses.

AI is so new that we’re all learning as we go, and making lots of mistakes in the process.

We’re here to help you get through this learning curve.

Our team developed a set of AI Content Generation Guidelines based on our own processes, research and observation of what’s working.

These guidelines will help you and your team:

- Build a responsible AI content strategy
- Identify potential pitfalls of AI tools (and how to avoid them)
- Set up checks and balances to ensure safe AI use
- Identify the best use cases for AI content generation

Give your team the direction they need to use AI to solve problems and not create new ones.
