Day 2- Staten Island Ferry ⛴️ to see the Statue of Liberty 🗽, 9/11 Memorial 🇺🇸, Empire State Building 🏙️, Grand Central Station 🚉, Rockefeller Tree 🎄 at night with a $1M Waterford Glass too, and Saks on Fifth Christmas windows before back to Times Square. We got in a lot!

It was a beautiful day. 60 degrees and sunny. Sat on the back porch after having picked up leaves 🍂 for a spell and then hiked to the top of the ⛰️ ridge line of the property and climbed down the other side. In the late afternoon the wind 💨 started picking up and the chill was in the air. We walked a short bit in downtown Bryson City taking in the Christmas vibes of the Polar Express. 🚂 ❄️ the winter storm is coming in the am so it will be a cold morning and day tomorrow while visiting the Biltmore.

This month we harvested black walnuts and lily seeds, and planted flower bulbs for spring. Scrapped one room of its popcorn ceiling, retextured and painted it. Washed the dogs and looked at the leaves changing in Appalachia. Yep! That’s a concrete mixer being used to tumble the walnuts for husk removal. 😃

Yesterday we travelled to the Wild Wild West for some Bull Ropin’ & Ridin’ fun with the kiddos.
