Sometimes all you can see is what you don't have, where you haven't gone, and what you haven't achieved yet. Today I was reminded of what blessings I do have, beautiful places I have gone and wonderful things I was blessed to accomplish.

Had a blast ministering at the Faith In Action Crusade yesterday. Job well done to Evang Debraah Bowman, and the company of ministries that served the community. ❤️

I was also encouraged by meeting Sharon. She shared she remembered meeting me years ago when I was married and hosted Bridal Retreats. She was encouraged by me then. I also reconnected with someone that I first met 10 years ago! I'm truly excited to reconnect with both of them soon.

Just stopping by to say that every season has a purpose, and your labor was not in vain. 💜

Story time. [TRIGGER WARNING]

I remember when he tried to curse my womb with tumors. He told someone that God told him I had as many tumors as he would cough over the sink. He coughed 4 times. He was coughing up blood and asked God what it was and that's the answer he got.

I remember when I believed him. Not in that moment, but later. When my cycle stopped being regular, and seemed to always be flowing. When I couldn't be available to him sexually because I couldn't stop bleeding. In the quiet moments, I would wonder: maybe I was cursed like he said. Maybe I was sick and didn't know it. Maybe I was a ticking time bomb.

It wasn't until mid crisis that I put two and two together. I was standing in the parking lot of my office. DCF had come there to talk about the safety of my children after his release from mental health care, and I was trying to keep my cool on the outside - but absolutely breaking on the inside. It was then I felt that familiar twinge - the flow had begun again. This wasn't some phantom cancer; this was stress bleeding - and I didn't know how to stop it...

The Womb remembers. The body keeps the score. It's time to set things right. Join me in The Womb Room.

You ever had a message come from the past and smack you between the eyes?

I wrote those lyrics in 2006 - at a VERY different time in my life. The message was from YHVH to me and through me to others. But today, a whole 20 YEARS later, the message still rings true.

"I don't live in your past, I'm here now.
As you draw close to Me you will know how.
My Grace covers all I will endow
You with favor and light
My child, receive your sight"

Ladies, we're still invited. We're invited to come away from the noise intended to incite and experience the peace that passes understanding. We are assured...

So I made a fool of myself this week. Twice this week, actually. Cried (and almost cried) in front of people who I wanted to have a high view of me. Accomplished people whom I respect.

I was graciously called on the carpet about why I have been silent on this page - and silent in general. I told the truth - that I had allowed circumstances in my life to tell me that hiding was safer, and silence would hurt less.

But here's the thing about heart trouble - the way out is THROUGH. And no matter how heavy it feels, you're not alone.

Enjoyed sharing today at Brooks Debartelo Collegiate High School's . I got to not only share my career path as a life coach, but information that would have made a major difference in my understanding of abuse in my youth.

As professionals, we have the opportunity to use the tools that we have gathered over the years to empower those coming after us. Let's do what we can to interrupt cycles and make life that much better - even if it's for the one.
