I wish I was joking, the very first vending machine we bought was a nightmare. We had a location and were ready to go, until something went wrong with the lock. Luckily we have an amazing team and were able to handle the situation. But what if that wasn’t the case? Check Craig’s List, Facebook marketplace and Yelp for vm services workers. Introduce yourself and build a relationship that way if you need their services in the future you’re at the top of their list.

Fridays are the most important to vending machine owners because 1. most businesses see an increase of traffic to their building during the weekend. This allows you to put yourself in the position to increase your revenue, but most importantly help better serve your host’s customers. 2. If your machine is being hosted at establishment that closes during the weekend, you are now prepared to kick the following week off with a fully stocked vending machine - without having to disrupt during business hours. #1 Tip when restocking a vending machine: ALWAYS leave extra singles. If a customer inserts a bill large than $1 the vending machine will return the customer change. This will prevent escalation at your machines location.
