There are very few human beings that can commit to years of service as Martin Luther King, Jr. did.

We are officially closed today to honor the work of his life and the contributions he made to peaceful resistance, which we value.

As we celebrate the life of MLK, we also recognize the work of our long term client Warrick Dunn who was honored by The King Center at the 2026 MLK Jr. Beloved Community Awards this weekend. Standing with Viola Davis, Billie Eilish and LeBron James, Warrick was feted for his 28 years of service through his Foundation which supports single parent families.

We know Warrick does not do his work for fame and glory. He would be quite happy to never see a camera again - but we also know the power of the donor dollar and that is how he has been able to continue the work he started to honor his mother, tragically killed while working overtime to support her family.

We honor both of these men who it’s fair to say, have lived their lives in many ways, for the benefit of others.

A strategic executive who now oversees the US Open Tennis Tournament, Stacey is joining the Women's Sports Foundation's Board of Trustees, just as the Foundation recognizes it's 50th anniversary.

An advocate for women everywhere, Stacey is a consummate professional and we've enjoyed our long term relationship.

We spent a few minutes preparing a client this morning for an upcoming video. Preparation is key to success if you want to be persuasive and leave your audience with a meaningful message. Prep time doesn't have to be long or drawn out but it does have to be focused and thorough.

It is so refreshing when a client takes the time to prepare and it shows up on camera or in the meeting or wherever strong speaking skills are needed.

While we offer media training, we can prep almost any person who must deliver important messages through speaking. That includes running better meetings, giving keynote addresses, being ready for video or the news.

It is no secret that those who can communicate efficiently are 'seen' more favorably, so if speaking is part of your job - we're here to help.

We've had the wonderful fortune of working with many impressive leaders in our boutique PR firm over many years. Warrick Dunn is one of them - and one of our long term clients too.

For decades now we have been able to help tell the story of his unusual life and his uncommon abilities. Smaller in stature, (sorry WD) and told he would not likely do well, he proved the critics WRONG, playing at the highest level in college and the NFL.

Today we are proud to share with our Facebook friends - and the entire world of news, that Warrick has been named to the College Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.

This is an important honor for him and a fun and meaningful story for us to share!

Last month, American Banker recognized two executives from Suncoast Credit Union — Julie Renderos and Darlene Johnson — as two of the top 15 "Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions." Suncoast was the only credit union in the nation with more than one executive in the ranking.
