The Embassy of Saint Lucia wishes to refute the recent news article concerning His Excellency Anton Edmunds, Ambassador of Saint Lucia to the United States, involvement in the Las Vegas shooting incident on Sunday. The Ambassador was not present at the event and is alive and well in Washington, DC. Though your expressions of concern are appreciated, we wish that they be directed towards the families of those who were truly impacted by this horrific act. The Embassy completely disassociates itself from this article, and strongly encourages all those who have heard and/ or are sharing this false news report to please discontinue from doing so due to its inaccuracy.

I am from Gros-Islet and I can remember this incident as a child. I always wondered what actually happened. We were only told everyone else died. This video is inspiring, to understand what these young boys went through is heart breaking.. I appreciate this video and the message in the end.. I have seen a lot of those videos of that same nature, "I survived" but never thought we had the same in our own back yard. I know it was not easy for the surviving victim, to come out with his story. I applaud him for his bravery. He is truly a hero. He could be very influential in speaking to children and helping them understand the purpose of life and the purpose of living. Patience, hope, courage, love.,thanksgiving , this is what I saw displayed from our survivor. His story can definitely change someone's life. Continue telling your story. Thank you Dale Elliot for making it possible. You always help us face reality, with a change of heart.
