Congratulations to our Apprenticeship Class of 2026! 🎓👏

Friday, we proudly celebrated 88 graduates representing six skilled trades, each demonstrating the dedication, perseverance, and craftsmanship required to succeed in our industry. Their hard work and commitment to mastering their trade have prepared them to take the next step in their careers and help build the future of construction.

We are honored to recognize this incredible achievement and thank the employers, instructors, mentors, and families who supported these apprentices throughout their journey. The future of the merit shop construction industry is bright, and these 88 graduates are helping lead the way. 🔨🏗️✨

Today, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay, ABC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter President/CEO Steve C**a III participated in a roundtable discussion with Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Keith E. Sonderling. The roundtable also included BayCare leadership and other regional partners focused on workforce development.

The discussion centered on creating stronger pathways into apprenticeship programs and addressing the skilled labor shortage by connecting individuals to fast-track opportunities for high-paying careers in the construction and healthcare.
