Your customers aren't ignoring you because your product isn't good or valuable.
They're ignoring you because they're exhausted, and in a lot of cases, genuinely stretched thin.
They're tired of inflation quietly eating their budgets. Tired of seeing the same retargeted ad 17 times when they are just trying to mindlessly scroll through social media after a long day. Tired of countdown timers and "limited time offers" that somehow never actually expire.
And here's the part most marketers skip over: some of those customers actually want what you're selling. They might even know they need it. But when grocery bills and gas prices are already doing damage, "I'll just buy this and figure out how to afford it later" isn't a strategy most people can afford right now.
Understanding that is half the battle. The marketing that's actually working right now isn't louder or more aggressive. It's not about better targeting or bigger budgets either. It's honest about where people are, and it meets them there.
I recently wrote a blog entry about what this looks like in practice. A link to it is in the comments.👇🏼
